Defo a new fav and another lovely pasta dish to use minced beef in that isn’t Spag bol, chilli or mince and tatties.

Ingredients
200g dried macaroni pasta- cooked weight should be 400g (weigh out when cooked)
250g lean minced beef (less than 5% fat)
1 small red onion - finely chopped
1 x tin of chopped tomatoes
2 x tsp of smoked paprika
8g garlic puree
10g tomato purée
1 x heaped tsp (10g) whole grain mustard
15ml - splash of Worcestershire sauce
30g picked baby getkins - slice them up
1 handful of fresh parsley- Finely chopped
Half tsp of Truvia- sweetener (pic below)
75g 50% less fat mature cheddar grated cheese
Method
Pop your pasta on to boil.
In a large saucepan using fry light 1kcal spray (to limit the oil calories) on a low heat sautéed red onion for a few mins. Once it’s starting to soften.
Add in your mince and brown it for a few mins.
Then add, paprika, garlic purée, tomato purée, mustard, chopped tomatoes, chicken stock and Worcestershire sauce. And skimmer for 10 mins on a low heat.
Add in your sweetener, gerkins and parsley and simmer for a further 5 mins.
Drain your pasta. Weight out 400g cooked pasta and add to your mince sauce and stir well. Add in your cheese. Mix well to make sure it melts and serve!
