Ingredients for Dahl
125g of dried red lentils (rinsed well)
200g chopped tomatoes
200ml light coconut milk
50g diced white onion
150g frozen butternut squash
40g tikka masala curry paste
8g heaps of garlic purée
8g heaps of ginger puree
1tsp cumin powder
15g mango chutney
Half vegetable stock cube (100ml
water)
Half tsp chilli flakes
Salt and pepper to season
Ingredients for chicken
300g Raw chicken breast - cut into chunks
10g tikka curry powder (I got mine from Asda)
Method for Dahl
Combine all ingredients for Dahl in slow cooker and cook on a low heat for 6 hours.
Method for chicken
Cut chicken into chunks and season with curry powder.
Using 1kcal spray in a large frying pan- brown your chicken for a coulle of mins.
Reduce heat and cover your pan with a lid and cook the chicken through for 8-10 mins.
