Mars Bar Banana Bread


Banana Bread has to be one of my favourite bakes.



Adding a little bit of your favourite chocolate helps with Cravings for all the chocolate šŸ¤— and still keeps the calories low... yay!


Itā€™s so simple to make.

Ingredients/ method - 7 slices

  • 1 x mash ripe banana

  • 1 x whole egg

  • 1 x tsp salted caramel essence (I got mine from waitrose) you could use vanilla essence

  • 100g vanilla quark

  • Combine in a large mixing bowl.

  • 120g rolled oats (blitz in food processor to make into flour)

  • 15g stevia (zero calorie sweetener)

  • 8g baking powder

Add all of the above to mixing bowl and stir well.

  • I added a few splashes of almond milk (if the batter is dry)

  • Finally chop up 2x Mars Bar FUN SIZED bars (80kcal each) and mix into batter


Pour mix into a baking loaf tin (I oiled by with a few stays of 1kcal cooking oil to prevent sticking) and bake for 20-25min in at preheated oven (190) Iā€™m using a non fan assisted oven
